  Ways to Help

Ways to Help

Akshobya Buddhist Centre is a registered charity, which depends on the kindness of others. We can only help others with your support.

  Volunteering

Akshobya Centre is entirely run by volunteers, so there are many opportunities for getting involved. Working as part of a community for the benefit of others is an invaluable life experience that gives real satisfaction and meaning to your life. Please let us know if you would like to help.

  Working visits

Working visits are a wonderful way to learn about the Buddhist way of life through joining our community for a week. In exchange for 35 hours of work we offer food, accommodation and the opportunity to attend our classes and meditation sessions. The work could include gardening, decorating, building, cleaning and cooking.

Apply: You can download a Working Visit Application Form (below), or contact the Centre.
