| Meditation Classes

What to expect at a class
The meditation classes are open to everyone and ideal for beginners. Each class includes simple guided meditations and an informal talk about meditation and Buddhism. The classes are designed to be self-contained, so you can drop in whenever is convenient for you. There is a facility fee of £4.50 per class. This is to cover the hire of venues, publicity, and to pay for travel costs.
Atisha's Advice
The meditation classes are based on a text by the Indian Buddhist Master Atisha (AD 982-1054) called Advice from Atisha's Heart. If we try our best to put Atisha's advice into practice, we shall develop a pure and happy mind, and discover that his teachings are just as relevant today as they have ever been.
